In 2025, Hearts Educators was deeply honored to receive a generous donation from the Catholic Women’s League, made up of sanitary pads and exercise books for the children and young people we serve.
For many girls in underserved communities, lack of access to menstrual products remains one of the biggest barriers to staying in school. Every month, some girls are forced to miss classes simply because they do not have the basic supplies needed to manage their periods with dignity. At the same time, many learners struggle without enough notebooks to take part fully in their lessons.
The Catholic Women’s League’s support has helped address both of these challenges. The donated sanitary pads are enabling girls to attend school with confidence and without fear or shame, while the exercise books are giving learners the tools they need to follow lessons, complete assignments, and express their ideas.
At Hearts Educators, we believe that education is not only about classrooms and teachers, it is also about dignity, confidence, and having the right materials to learn. This donation has already begun to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of the children we support.
