Hearts Educators is a youth-centered nonprofit organization established to expand education access, empower young people, and drive community-led systems change for vulnerable children and adolescents in Zambia.
Through our programmes, we create opportunities for children and young people to learn with dignity, access trusted knowledge, develop leadership capacity, and become active agents of positive change in their schools and communities.

Empowering youth through education, innovation & leadership
Hearts Educators implements its mandate through three structured programmes designed to address critical barriers to education access, youth empowerment, and community systems strengthening.
Education Access & Learning Support
We remove barriers to education by providing essential learning materials, menstrual dignity support, and nutrition assistance to vulnerable learners.
Youth Health, Leadership & Digital Empowerment
We empower young people through leadership development, sexual and reproductive health education, digital innovation, and youth-centered safe spaces that build confidence, resilience, and informed decision-making.
Advocacy, Partnerships & Systems Change
We work with government institutions, traditional leaders, civic actors, and communities to influence policies, transform harmful norms, and create enabling environments for children and adolescents to succeed.
Implementing educational support through community-driven approaches
Hearts Educators implements its programmes through structured, community-driven approaches that prioritise alignment with existing educational systems while remaining responsive to the realities faced by vulnerable learners.
How We Work
- Working within existing educational structures, including schools and District Education Boards (DEBS)
- Engaging local volunteers and educators to deliver context-appropriate educational support
- Designing cost-effective interventions that directly address learner needs
